Creating new documents with Office 365

Once connected with your Office 365 account inside fileroom, you can create new documents can easily from inside your Content Room.

Once connected, new documents can easily be created from inside your Content Room.  To get started, click the create button in the tool bar inside your Content Room Project page.  A list will drop down to show the types of documents you can create as follows:
 

  • Word Document
  • Excel Spreadsheet
  • PowerPoint Presentation

The following file types are supported for editing using the fileroom Office 365 integration.
 
Word Documents
Edited files will always be saved as DOCX by default.​
  • DOC
  • DOCX
  • DOTX
  • TXT
  • RTF
  • HTML
 
Excel Files
Edited files will always be saved as XLSX by default.
  • XLS
  • XLSX
  • CSV
  • TSV
 
PowerPoint Files
Edited files will always be saved as PPTX.​
  • PPT
  • PPTX
