Web session control helps protect access to your files and data by allowing admins to control how long other team members can be signed into your fileroom account.

Web session control helps protect access to your files and data by allowing admins to control how long other team members can be signed into your fileroom account.

There are two options to select for web session control and they can be used together or independently:

  1. Fixed session length which allows admins to set the interval that team members can be signed into fileroom at any one time.
  2. Idle session length which allows admins to set how long a team member can stay signed without actively using fileroom.

To access these settings, go the settings page located from the dropdown arrow at the top right of the portal next to the users name. Then scroll down to the Web session control under the Connections section on the settings page.

Note: The ability to set these controls are only available to the account owner and nominator administrator/s.

Knowledge Tip
When a fixed session length is set, it is measured from the time a team member signs in.
